Philip Hartley Associates (PHA) Ltd was formed in 1995 and offers a specialist service in the provision of independent consultancy and project management for theme park developers, designers, project masterplanners, main contractors, local authorities and other end users.

 Philip Hartley has worked in the audio-visual, tourism & leisure business for almost 40 years both as producer, director and project manager. This allows him to draw on extensive experience in the design & technical development, procurement and project management of all aspects of the refurbishment and new build of attractions in the tourism and theme park markets

Philip Hartley’s first attraction based projects, in the early 1990’s, included a dark ride and backstage tour for Granada Studios Tour, in Manchester, and a 360-degree theatre experience in Dunluce, Northern Ireland. Since its’ formation in 1995, PHA’s concentration and development of the tourism and leisure business has progressed year on year.

More recently, this service has developed to include the ability to supply an expanded management “team” available in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Far East - flexible enough to respond and adapt to a variety of projects whilst fulfilling local conditions and regulations

PHA is a member of the Themed Entertainment Association, IAAPA and Experience UK.
